For some reason Laragon keeps pointing to a sub folder in the www folder as the root director when it is clearly set to the folder www. I deleted the sub folder that it was pointing to and restarted Laragon and it just goes to the next sub folder and uses THAT as the root directory.
What information do you need? Apache log file of any sort?
I already have Git, Node, Yarn, Composer installed.
Ngrok never needed.
Notepad++ too old and competitor (VSCode even portable, Atom) better by far (Git integrated, faster, better performance, (-->) terminal included etc.)
The complete Laragon package is really great but too much.
Basically I only need Apache, PHP and MySQL.
Laragon Mint would be perfect but unfortunately only Ngnix is included, which most webspace providers do not support, so I never use it.
So, is there any chance of reawakening Laragon Lite, please?
Or is there a reason why Lite doesn't get updates anymore?
Oops, I actually replied to another post.
This should not be a new announcement.
Did I find a bug or can anyone write an announcement here?
Anyway, please move post to the appropriate category, if necessary, sorry. ^^
I had a similar issue where laragon would just get stuck forever at the very beginning of download. To fix this, I used composer to install drupal. In configuration file sites.conf I replaced the link to drupal 8 by this: Drupal 8=composer create-project drupal/drupal %s --prefer-dist
Hope it helps.
I am really stuck on this. I have Laragon installed on 1 windows pc sharing dropbox.
The sync software wont sync these 3 files.
It says the files are locked.
So I thought first that a background process(mysql) was running but no..I also cannot start mysql, it keep saying "initializing data". So I think that on this pc, it is not receivin these 3 files which causes the crash in mysql startup.
But why these 3 files are stuck in the cloud?
What could cause windows to not give access to these files in Laragon please?

Best WAMP Server for Local WordPress – Laragon is Easy by David McCan
Everyone doing web development or training up in web technologies needs a local test server. You know that testing on a live site is risky. Building websites or evaluating themes and plugins? Yes, you need one too. Are you interested in WordPress, Drupal, Joomla, or PHP? If so, and you are running Windows, then you need a WAMP stack.
It may sound complicated, and if you had to install Apache, MySQL, and PHP from scratch individually, it might be. However, there are packages that bundle these programs together to take the pain out of the setup process. They come with an installer and preconfigure all the settings for you. They have a “control panel” that serves as a launcher and provide quick access to options and settings. I’ve evaluated all of them and used many of them. In this article, I’m going to tell you about Laragon WAMP. It is free and it is the easiest to setup and use. Read on to learn about the Laragon WAMP package, how to install it, and how to install WordPress using Laragon’s “quick create” feature.
