I can't change mysql datadir,
Laragon always creates a new directory called "Mariadb".
in setting / preferences, I add the custom "data dir"
d: \ mysqldata
then Laragon automatically adds
d: \ mysqldata \ mariadb
is the "datadir" folder required to use the name "mariadb"?
note: I also tried changing the mysql my.ini config,
but it didn't work Laragon automatically changed the dir data again "../maraidb"
laragon .zip portable
mariadb latest version
I am using Laragon Full Apache 2.2.2 170214 php-7.1.1-Win32-VC14-x86.
My laragon suddenly just keeps freezing each time I click Stop after Starting Services.
This also happens if I do a Quick Create.
I have tried reinstalling and tried Laragon Lite and Portable and it still happens. I'm not sure what is wrong. Any ideas to resolve this?
One more thing, If I try to access localhost, Laragon is loaded in localhost even though I haven't started Laragon services. Is this normal?
Edit 1: Note: I'm on Windows 10 x64
Edit 2: Tried reinstalling Laragon Full 4.0.12 190228 php-7.1.1-Win32-VC14-x86 again on top of the current one. Laragon started freezing(not responding) right after opening it. http://prntscr.com/n9x2ax
I've been using Laragon for a couple of Laravel projects and it's been pretty good, but in the last week requests have been hanging. It seems to happen every other request and if I restart nginx it'd be OK for a couple of requests.
The Nginx logs show nothing, mysql log nothing.
I've created a new project, used a different browser, re-installed Laragon and nothing seems to fix it.
I'm now developing via docker containers (thanks to a devops guy) using the same code and it's fine, so the only thing left is Laragon.
Is there a way to get more verbose logging?
I'd like to continue using Laragon as it's been very handy.
From time to time, usually it happens once or twice a day where my local websites stop loading and I have to reload Nginx in order for it to work again.
I receive 504 Gateway Time-out in the browser and looking at error.log it shows the following error message:
2017/02/15 17:17:32 [error] 10740#9232: *4467 upstream timed out (10060: A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond) while connecting to upstream, client: 127.0.0.1, server: manager.dev, request: "GET /site/list/2/2/edit HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://127.0.0.1:9001", host: "manager.dev", referrer: "http://localhost:3000/site/list/2/2/edit"
I tried searching this forum and Google without much luck
My setup is:
Laragon Full 2.1.6
It's not a huge deal but if anyone has a solution, it's highly appreciated.
I'm having issues to run my WP site locally. I'm using manageWP as a backup tool and downloaded a full backup from there. Created blank quick app with laragon and extracted the zip file in it and I get the Error establishing a database connection. I am not a developer and have little experience with these things. I just have a small ecommerce site and want to run it locally to make changes. I saw somewhere that it might be the wp_config options but tried everything and it just doesn't load the database. I assume somehow I need to tell laragon that "this is the database to use for this project" but I have no idea from where to do that. I also tried to install fresh local copy of Wordpress using laragon and this worked. Then I tried to copy my backup files to the new folder and all the plugins were turned off and also the database was the fresh and empty one.. Any help would be appreciated!
Hi there - Thanks for the latest update several improvements!
I tried to use PHP 7.3 with latest and older Laragon versions, but the php.ini changes are overwritten everytime I restart Apache. I could not enable/disable the modules from the context menu either.
I presume this is due to the way php.ini is initialized for the web server. PHP 7.2 had a new feature that extension names no longer needed their file extension.
I would appreciate any light you can shed.
I've installed laragon because I saw that it supports Memcached (for windows) but when I run it (memcached was on, I could access the stats page) laravel still gave me the error: Class "Memcached" not found.
