I'm very new at this, I'm sorry about the really newbie questions!
I installed Wordpress with Laragon, and Laragon document root is set to \www, I pull up the computer's IP address, and all I see is the Laragon getting started page. If I set the document root to \www\testwebpage, it will show my Wordpress site. Is this how it's supposed to work? How am I supposed to get it to read my webpage without changing the document root?
Second, I would like to use a virtual host. So I create a second Wordpress site, let's say \www\testwebpage2, how do I get Laragon to create the virtual host? I'm using a free DNS service that's pointing with CNAME to a dynamic DNS that's on the computer with the 2 websites. I would like it to work like:
After a month of everything going smooth I used Duplicator on a live WP site to make a clone package.
I installed on my local, and ran into a strange issue where I couldn't change the base URL to http://
Then, I get a notification that MySQL has stopped with an Reason: Unknown, and I should check the log files... that I can't find. I go through and update Laragon, but now I get the the same MySQL: Unknown, as well as Apache not having access to the assigned ports.
The most intersting part is that SSL has not been enabled at all. I have never used the 443 port. When I take a look at ResMon, I can see other applications are using remote 443 just fine, and nothing is using 443 internally.
I feel like I am just missing something here, but I am out of ideas at the point.
I want to change the DocumentRoot only for "localhost".
Backstory: In LAN domain it.example.com pointing to my PC. I want to share under that domain one of my project from /laragon/www/ directory. By default under localhost Laragon shows /laragon/www content. How can i serve /laragon/www/example?
First of all, thank you for these great tools and great community.
I'm looking for building a small chat for users in my web app with NodeJS, Socket.io and VueJS and would like to try out Cassandra or something similar.
After reading about databases for large chat apps, I now by the past how a MySQL database isn't enough when traffic hits and there a lots of queries per sec/min. If you have suggestions on a similar database that would fit my needs, that would be great to hear, because dispite the fact that Cassandra is efficient, I'm afraid running java on my server might crash it, my server isn't powerful. Can Laragon support new instalations and drivers for such databases ?
Once I enabled xdebug per the tutorial here this option appeared checked. I assumed clicking it would disable it somehow but that doesn't seem to work.
Commenting out those lines works fine for now, but is there a way to make it so we can toggle without editing the ini fies? Maybe a comment block we can add above & below that you can just comment everything in between?
I thought It was gonna be simple, but not so easy after all.
Have the /bin/php/php-5.2.17-Win32-VC6-x86 added.
Found that there are no viable VC6 Apache builds around that I could download, but found that with the solution here it should be possible to run the VC6 version of PHP using a VC10 version of Apache with a modified php5_module.
Installed all vcdist that would be required and tried to follow the directions they gave, but it fails with httpd: Syntax errors both on my lines added to link that module and from mod_php.conf.
I feel like I'm super close, could you point me in the right direction?
PS we develop & maintain WP plugins, though we don't build for PHP 5.2, we have some users on it so we occasionally need to do testing.
Hello, am trying to run my laravel project, my even I do nothing happen.

To initialize a project, please create a composer.json file as described in the https://getcomposer.org/ "Getting Started" section"
but I have composer installed with laragon...
while in the browser, I could see these error below:

I am using Laragon 3.4.0 and there is a problem with the SSL certificate on Firefox.
It is working well on Edge, Chrome, Explorer. Only Firefox gives me error code: MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_SELF_SIGNED_CERT. I have almost tried everything.
