@Paul-BOREL : I just tested with Windows 2012. I've made a patch here. It will fallback with other OS:
https://github.com/leokhoa/laragon/blob/master/laragon.exe
-
@Paul-BOREL : Please update me if it works. I changed the way to get IP to fix this issue:
https://github.com/leokhoa/laragon/issues/39
-
@leokhoa works with the new exe ....
Normal that in top see Laragon Lite ?
-
@Paul-BOREL : Nice!
Yes, withoutgit
, Laragon will display that. You can add git, nodesjs, code, phpmyadmin, yarn with 1-Click withMenu > Tools > Quick add > *
-
@leokhoa nothing have .... packages.json empty
-
@Paul-BOREL : What's in Menu > Tools > Quick add > Configuration?
-
@leokhoa it open Notepad++ with empty file
-
@Paul-BOREL : Can you delete the file and try again?
Laragon should download this template file for you:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/leokhoa/laragon/master/bin/laragon/packages.conf.manifest
-
@leokhoa if I want to download git :
-
I donwgrade to previous that worsk better than the 4.0.... I've got lt of errors ....
-
@Paul-BOREL : Checking your previous posts, I see your system had many strange issues. Even the error when displaying IP address you posted here (I must make a patch to silently fallback to make it work on your system).
Laragon 4.0 is more flexible than previous versions. It needs to download package from the trusted sources on Internet but I believe lack of privileges on your system prevents Laragon 4.0 to function correctly.
-
Excellent news! Thanks Leo! I look forward to giving it a go.
-
@leokhoa I have standart windows 10 not modififed or other .
Okay it more flexible but if I can't use it not good. For my work I must have one thar run and for projects I can't wait days without can do nothing ....
-
Thanks for continuing to make improvements to Laragon. To upgrade from a previous version do we simply install the new one on top of the old one? If we do experience problems what is the correct was to roll back to a previous version? Can I take a backup before I begin and restore that?
-
Nice a new release
So right now there is no need to manually download mysql versions or PHP versions? Or it will download always the latest? Anyway it looks pretty awesome!
One feature that I would really love to have is the Ngrok working properly but it is serving the root document ( www ) instead the project that I specify. Is this fixed on version 4?
https://forum.laragon.org/topic/1205/ngrok-laragon-serving-root-document-instead-projectAnyway I want to say Largon rocks. I will never use again wamp xamp or whatever
-
Hello, What did mean the * before name of module ? exemple '*git' ?
-
consider update tools such as putty0.70 and winscp?
-
@Dustin : Laragon 4.0 is fully compatible with Laragon 3.0. We have a major release of Laragon because Laragon 4.0 will not bundle with
git, node.js
by default. You can add them easily usingQuick add
if you need.Therefore you can upgrade Laragon from 3.0 to 4.0 easily:
- Rename laragon.exe to laragon.exe.bak
- Download https://github.com/leokhoa/laragon/blob/master/laragon.exe
That's all. You can rollback from the laragon.exe.bak
-
@ivomir : The links are configurable. By default, Laragon will get the links on
C:\laragon\usr\packages.conf
If the file does not exist, Laragon will create it which content from:
https://raw.githubusercontent.com/leokhoa/laragon/master/bin/laragon/packages.conf.manifest
