@tatoosh You can do it manually with instructions from our friend @leokhoa here: https://forum.laragon.org/topic/455/laragon-auto-startup-on-windows-server-2008/2

RE: Install issue - vcredist/Visual C++ Redistributable for Visual Studio 2015
@leokhoa Thanks I'll try installing into another folder.
My windows updates are not functioning correctly so I think this may be the issue!
Many thanks for your replies. Great to see such amazing support for your awesome software!
RE: SSPI & authnz_sspi_module in Laragon
Got it working with this in the end...
<VirtualHost *:80> DocumentRoot "C:/laragon/www/authtest/" ServerName authtest.dev ServerAlias *.authtest.dev <Directory "C:/laragon/www/authtest/"> #AllowOverride All #Require all granted Options None AllowOverride All Order allow, deny Allow from all #AuthName "SSPI Protected Place" AuthType SSPI SSPIAuth On SSPIAuthoritative On SSPIOfferBasic On SSPIOmitDomain On Require valid-user </Directory> </VirtualHost>
RE: Accessing "mysite.dev" redirects to URL which shows index.php at root folder
Thanks for your replies.
It turns out the network I'm on at my workplace uses a proxy for browsing the web and this was interfering with the dns resolution which is why it was only an issue in the web browser and not the command prompt.
The solution was in the end very simple, I just had to add exceptions to the web browser settings when not to use the proxy for example localhost,127.0.0.1,*.dev.
I've put more details in my SO question, which I have in turn now answered myself: http://stackoverflow.com/questions/37658876/wamp-localhost-redirects-to-my-ip
Hope this might help someone else.
Thanks again for this great tool. I can finally start using it now!
RE: [SOLVED] XDEBUG & PHP 7.0.8
Got stuck on this myself (specifically running my laravel tests with xdebug from cmd line in vscode).
I was following this tutorial: https://tighten.co/blog/configure-vscode-to-debug-phpunit-tests-with-xdebug which is for mac/linux and as I'm using Laragon/Windows I ended up here.
I did add PHP NTS, but not sure that it was needed. I think it's most likely that the solution was by adding the following options as a minimum in
This post prompted me to add
xdebug.remote_host=localhostthe https://xdebug.org/archives/xdebug-general/1865.html which made the difference.
I also set the env var by running
setx XDEBUG_CONFIG "idekey=VSCODE", again not sure if that made the difference or not but was one step I took.
Hope this helps someone!
RE: Laravel Dusk hitting Laragon splash page/localhost?
@leokhoa Still no change, sorry! See screenshot below...
I don't think Ngrok is running properly to be honest, see the error "Could not detect Ngrok tunnel link".
I think I am going to give up on this now. Thanks a lot for your help and assistance it's really appreciated.
Apologies if this has already been discussed already and I missed it!
Just wondering if there is a plan to add documentation for Laragon - something like https://readthedocs.org/ or a github wiki. I understand there are many posts made in the forum on how to get started etc. but it would be great for newcomers to have some basic documentation rather than to have such info restricted to the forum.
I would be happy to contribute to this as I'm sure other users would too, so it would be great if the documentation was open for others to collaborate on.
