@islamw : Sure, you can.
1. Open Skype > Tools > Options > Advanced > Connection 2. Uncheck "Use port 80 and 443 for additional incoming connections" 3. Restart Skype
@haakym : Cool! Your solution will help others
@islamw: You can change Laragon SSL port to 443 in preferences and in httpd-vhosts.conf
Restart Apache and check if it listen on port 443 (The easiest way to check is open Terminal and type:
telnet localhost 443
If it said connected then you can follow @Kurre tutorial.
PS: In a few days, I will release a new version of Laragon which will make SSL Connection a breeze.
Kurre is right.php-fpm is process manager for fastcgi, Laragon + Apache 2.4 mod fcgid will handle the PM. You can think they are php-fpm on Windows
@Kurre: I use Nginx extensively but Apache2 is still great and flexible (think about .htaccess)
Upcoming version of Laragon will use fast-cgi so memory consumption will reduce a lot (< 2MB) and also improve performance.
Yes, Windows with GUI can not vs Linux. However, our OSes are not Windows Servers. If you make a compare with a EC2 micro running Windows Server 2012, that will be fun...
Looks like your connection to Laragon was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
