But for unexplained reasons this one insists on pointing to the c:\laragon\www route - yet if I meddle with its configuration by putting rubbish (e.g. hfdkjsfhdkjshfdkjshfdskjhfds) somewhere, an Nginx reload DOES complain about the rubbish configuration....so it seems Laragon/nginx are picking up any changes.
I just created a Laravel 7z site and it's going to the main Laragon page too - it's as though the very first found server/location section works but nothing else seems to do so?
I needed to adjust the Nginx setup slightly to get the default Symfony 3.2 route to work; specifically it was necessary to change this line (on line 7) in the auto.test-symfony.dev.conf:
index index.html index.htm index.php;
Unfortunately I'm not too familiar with working directly with Symfony itself so I'm not sure if this is/was an upstream change but from what I can understand Symfony's default install will place the bootstrap / frontcontroller at:
[the_webroot]/web/app.php or [the_webroot]/web/app_dev.php
...so the subsequent location block is OK but if one navigates to:
...then one gets a 404 whereas one expects Symfony 3.2's default page.
Can someone tell me if I'm doing something "odd"?
(PS. The other way to "fix" this was to change app_dev.php or app.php to index.php but that seems a little kludgy).
Is it just me or does this forum make posting lots of config files etc. somewhat difficult? Specifically using MS Edge and pasting a bunch of config from cmder (it was an nginx.config) had the text area input thingo just go off the page with no way to scroll down below it to actually write what I wanted - my other post was done in Chrome
I have correctly installed php_fann.dll from https://pecl.php.net/package/fann/1.1.1/windows in active php extension folder but php throws error in log saying
"Unable to load dynamic library 'C:/laragon/bin/php/php-7.1.0-Win32-VC14-x86/ext\php_fann.dll' - The specified module could not be found."
Is there somthing error with laragon, php or that extension couldn't figure out.
I am new here and this is my first post. Laragon looks promising and I am looking forward to learning how to use it :grinning[:)]:
Quick question.. How do I connect to my root directory via ftp?
What should I write in host, username, password, etc..?
Currently I am using Sublime text 3 with SFTP plugin, and it won't connect if I supply localhost as a host and some random username. Sublime text won't let me try to save SFTP configuration without supplying some username.
I am very happy with the SSL feature in laragon.
But in latest chrome, the SSL marks as false positive/Untrusted Cerificate where we need to add exception and chrome didn't remember password/form-data for app having login and card feature.
Is there any idea to make ssl valid or get sort out of this problem.
After downloading the right packages, the next steps are easy.
PECL: Extract php_imagick-3.4.3rc1-7.0-ts-vc14-x86.zip to a tmp dir, then put just php_imagick.dll to PHP Extension dir (Menu > PHP > dir:ext)
Imagick Binaries & Dlls: Extract ImageMagick-6.9.3-7-vc14-x86.zip to a tmp dir, then put all dlls in bin (CORE_RL_*.dll, FILTER_analyze_.dll, IM_MOD_RL_*.dll, ImageMagickObject.dll) to PHP dir (Menu > PHP > Version > dir:php-xxx-xxx)
Just click Menu > PHP > Extensions > php_imagick.dll
I've gone through what I think is the correct process for installing the imagick extension, but I'm getting the following error anytime I run a command from the console: "Warning: PHP Startup: Unable to load dynamic library 'C:/laragon/bin/php/php-7.0.10-Win32-VC14-x86/ext\php_imagick.dll' - The specified module could not be found."
I've think the back slash in the file location is the culprit, but I'm not sure how to fix it.
