Considering that Laragon advertises itself as an "isolated environment", why is there an installer and what is it doing? Are all the apps standalone like MySQL, etc., or are these being installed to the host operating system?
Hi, newbie question! I am trying to setup a project using laravel as backend and vuejs as front end.
I am having issues when I run npm run watch, it gets compiled ok but I cannot access for example my-project-example.dev:8080 which is the local dev server. Should I try to change the webpack dev default server port or is there any other solution?
When i enable Auto-generate ssl certificate on nginx it's break; and laragon show the "Laragon lite doesn't support Auto generate ssl please import manually".
how i can manually import "Certificates".?
After downloading the right packages, the next steps are easy.
PECL: Extract php_imagick-3.4.3rc1-7.0-ts-vc14-x86.zip to a tmp dir, then put just php_imagick.dll to PHP Extension dir (Menu > PHP > dir:ext)
Imagick Binaries & Dlls: Extract ImageMagick-6.9.3-7-vc14-x86.zip to a tmp dir, then put all dlls in bin (CORE_RL_*.dll, FILTER_analyze_.dll, IM_MOD_RL_*.dll, ImageMagickObject.dll) to PHP dir (Menu > PHP > Version > dir:php-xxx-xxx)
Just click Menu > PHP > Extensions > php_imagick.dll
I've built the pcntl exension to work with PHP 7.1 64-bit on Windows. The extension is compatible with Unix pcntl api, but is not functional yet as it will take much time to convert Unix's signals to Windows procees model.
However, you can add it to your PHP's extension to overcome the extension-missing stopper.
I'm developing Laravel project on Windows 10 locally using Laragon
PHP version: 7.1.8 64bit NTS
related php.ini that I know is
post_max_size = 8M
file_uploads = On
// if no image uploaded
throw new \Exception("No image found");
// get uploaded image
$image = $request->file('profile_picture');
// store to storage/app/users/
Storage::putFileAs('users', $image ,auth()->id());
UploadedFile Instance proved that image was uploaded successfully, but the realpath is false
this bug(?) cause Laravel cant read the file, so threw the error
here is the function cause error
In my opinion, this is server configuration issue, probably problem on php.ini,
but I'm not familiar with server configuration, and there is not too much topics online related with this issue.
I know the problem caused, but I don't know how to solve it.
Hello Guys! I usually google things as long as it's needed to find a solution, but this time I failed. That's why I decided to ask for you help. To the business:
I have Laragon installed on Windows machine
Two project in in it (Laravel and Lumen)
Both working perfectly fine on local env
What I am struggling to do is having remote access to both of them, working like this:
a) connecting to public IP of home network via port 8087 - opening project 1
b) connecting to public IP of home network via port 8089 - opening project 2
Both ports are redirected on router to equivalent ports on local machine which is host for Laragon.
What I've done is setting both ports to be listened in httpd.conf. Then I tried with virtual host settings, but without any success. No matter what I do, all traffic is redirected to project 1 only.
Could you point out what I am doing wrong and how to approcach this correctly? Many thanks!
First WOW Thank You for Laragon
It has made my life so much better.
I work with Wordpress and Ruby on Rails
Just when I started working seriously on Ruby
You added support.
I really cannot thank you enough.
Now I'm looking to work with Elixir and Phoenix.
Any chance you could add these?
I would be so grateful.
Attention Other Devs
If you would like Elixir Phoenix Support ask!
