What is the recommended way to delete a project?

  • | 3254 points

Currently I have been manually deleting the project directory, dropping the database and editing the hosts file, but I'm not sure that is the best way. I could write a script that does some of this, but there still is the hosts file and the cert which both require elevated privileges to modify. I'm thinking this has been discussed before, but I was not able to find a topic in the search. Can someone point me to the recommended way of deleting a project?

    Thanks!

@pfaciana : You are safe when deleting the project dir and dropping database.
You don't need to clear the hosts file and delete certs as Laragon will do that for you when needed.

@leokhoa Thanks! What action triggers the host and cert clean up?

@pfaciana : Actions which trigger the host and certs cleanup are:

    1. Creating a new folder in Document Root
    2. Changing tpl\openssl.conf.tpl and clicking "SSL > Add Certificates to Trust Store"
