[Tutorial] How to add another Apache version
This is the latest path for Win64 - VC15
I tried to upgrade to Apache VS16; downloaded the files and copied it to a new directory, but when I restart Apache and load localhost I get the following error:
httpd: Syntax error on line 546 of C:/laragon/bin/apache/httpd-2.4.35-win64-VC15/conf/httpd.conf: Syntax error on line 2 of C:/laragon/etc/apache2/mod_php.conf: Can't locate API module structure `php8_module' in file C:/laragon/bin/php/php-8.0.0-Win32-vs16-x64/php8apache2_4.dll: No error
I'm not sure what's happening. Why is it looking in the VC15 directory for the httpd.conf file?
Edit: Okay, it's not the upgrade per se. That seems to have worked, but I can't enable SSL. That's what the problem seems to be.
@masbdp : Thanks. They removed the link. I've updated it
Ok I am using Laragon 5.0 and just upgraded to the newest apache by following this tutorial and it worked flawlessly and it also fixed a problem i was having with enabling mod_deflate.
I'm having trouble enabling the ssl certificate, with this newer version of apache, it doesn't accept at all
@lrdeoliveira it made no sense to me, and it may have been pure coincidence, but when I had this problem, I changed back to an old PHP version that had been working with SSL, then changed it back again and SSL was working.
How do I solve this problem?
@lucasantoniooficial : Please upgrade to Laragon 5:
