quick share ngrok doesn't work if 'auto.' is prefixed to hosts file

Quick q when I use the Menu > www > share > project_name It says thats it's working, but I noticed that it didn't automatically change the auto hosts file. I had to rename it and remove the auto. part from the file name, for the ngrok hostname to be added automatically.
is it a bug? It doesn't seem automatic.
Also where do I add my .yml file to use my login for an unlimited time domain? All my shares have a 7 hour limit. after creating an account it saved a file to C:/users/paulka/.ngrok2/ngrok.yml and if I manually setup ngrok it works, but not when using the auto setup.
