How to use localhost under custom folder name?
-
Hey, its there a way to somehow change or allow to use http://localhost under some of custom folders domains? I mostly need this because Firefox and Chrome is blocking other http domains to test mic or webcam permissions only localhost is allowed for developers.
-
@Samuell can you clarify about custom folders domains?
-
@borhanuddin Every folder is custom domain but i need to make somehow one of them under localhost name.
For example i have: http://mydomain.test but i need it to be http://localhost
-
@Samuell if you want to use default localhost you can disable the laragon Auto virtual host by going to preferences and untick Auto virtual hosts in General Tab
-
@borhanuddin Yes i know but its there a way to define wich folder then will be localhost?
-
@Samuell said in How to use localhost under custom folder name?:
well, inside Preferences, in General Tab there is a Document Root: section where you can change default folder domain.
-
@borhanuddin I tried to switch it but it goes back to www/ folder again
-
@Samuell I have tried that method and it works.. maybe you can try running laragon as administrator or download portable version or try download latest version of laragon.
