    Hi

    I am using the portable version of Laragon and followed the instructions to update MySQL.

    By default, portable Laragon includes a folder mysql-5.1.72-win32, and the folder size is 36.4MB.

    When I've tried downloading and extracting 5.7 or 8.0, the folders are 1.6GB and 850MB.

    Am I using the right link (https://dev.mysql.com/downloads/mysql) to download MySQL?

    Is there a smaller size version or a way to make it smaller?

    The reason being is because I want to use the Portable version, and want small file size and moving the folders at over 2GB is a bit slow.
