Enabling SSL on Apache blows away previously configured virtual hosts

  • | 77 points

I'd made several local sites, some with very complicated localhost configurations. Then today I needed to make one of them run on HTTPS. I turned on SSL in Apache in the Laragon control panel, and it deleted all of my virtual hosts — my 00-default.conf has just the root site in it and there are no other files. I don't know if it damaged anything else. Is there any way to get them back?

@peterromero : The files in sites-enabled are auto-generated so I am afraid the changes are lost when you enable SSL which involve different configurations. You can:

    1. Enable "Auto Virtual Hosts", Laragon will generate correspond virtual host files.
    2. Remove the auto. prefix on Virtual Host files you want to persist then put your changes in.
