[Solved] This site can’t be reached [ERR_ICANN_NAME_COLLISION]

So I updated my laragon to latest version and suddenly after that I am unable to use virtual host of url. localhost url and ngrok url are working fine.

I checked cannot open sites on dev domain this post

1. I changed dev to app and local but still issue not resolved
2. I checked on different browsers but still issue not resolved
3. I checked host file , clean only my projects urls
4. I checked firewall settings nothing unusual
5. I changed my DNS with google's one nothing resolved
6. I flushed DNS from command line
7. I go thorough Fix ‘Err Name Not Resolved’ in Windows still problem persist

Restarted system all time whenever asked, but still problem is not solved

Where is the problem?
How should I resolve this issue?

Please guide whats wrong here!

Is it possible we get some option in preferences to indicate what url we want like if option is checked we get http://myproject.dev otherwise http://localhost/myproject

@ravikumar8 : Do you mean the previous Laragon's version worked well for you?
If yes, which version?
Then you can try installing the version to another location to see it still work or not.

Also, please check if the current Laragon generates entries in the hosts file.

@leokhoa I don't remember the version and I don't have previous setup file and yes laragon is generating the entries in the hosts file correctly.

@ravikumar8 : Checking your former posts, I find that you used Laragon 3.1.2

I am using laragon 3.1.2 170625 with php-7.1.6-win32-vc14-x64
My OS is 64bit

And I don't think Laragon's version is the issue as newer version is added more features.

I suggest you to try other browsers than Chrome to find out the root cause.

Yaa I know, after that I was not working on same project I was working on cordova project where I don't need apache to host files.

Today I started working on laravel project so I downloaded laravel and after starting laravel through menu, I got this error.

Last time I added PHP version 5 (multiple php V7 and V5) so I removed V5 and checked no success, so I uninstall current version and downloaded fresh version still no success.

Solved!!

From hosts file ignored, how to troubleshoot? added permissions (5) to hosts file now its working!
