Open config/app.php, then find
'timezone' => 'UTC' and change it to
'timezone' => 'America/Toronto'.
Please tell us the result.
You can make your project folder inside
www folder in laragon, my path:
C:\laragon\www\. For example, i will name my project html5, then i will make a folder named
html5, the path will be like this
html5 folder, you can place your index.html. After that, reload laragon, then voila, you can type
html5.oo/ in your browser.
Can you post your resource folder structure and your
Do you use MySQL? I guess MySQL already active by default, unless you use another driver like Postgre or Mongo.
But here is the path:
try to add
@endsection at the bottom.
can you post your migration file?
hmm, what driver you use? I guess you have to uncomment some extension in php.ini file.
for example, if you use pdo_odbc (to connect with Ms. Acess), you have to uncomment extension=php_pdo_odbc.dll
maybe you use one of these.
extension=php_pdo.dll extension=php_pdo_firebird.dll extension=php_pdo_informix.dll extension=php_pdo_mssql.dll extension=php_pdo_mysql.dll extension=php_pdo_oci.dll extension=php_pdo_oci8.dll extension=php_pdo_odbc.dll extension=php_pdo_pgsql.dll extension=php_pdo_sqlite.dll
glad to hear that the migrate work. Can you tell us the solution?
Can you try to connect to MySQL using the cmd (just to make sure)?
go to mysql.exe path (mine is: C:\laragon\bin\mysql\mysql-5.7.19-winx64\bin)
open cmd there, and type
mysql.exe -u root -p
If your root account doesn't have password, then just press enter.
If the MySQL say welcome to you, then can you try to retrieve some record?
select * from [table_name]
If you can enter the database and retrieve record from it, maybe there's a problem with your database config file. Can you please show your database config file?
Do you choose the 3.2.2 option at the download menu?
Aw, sorry about that. I miss the point.
I haven't upgrade my apache version since i use the newest laragon version. I try the link you said above, but nothing i can found.
Have you try it?
If you want the apache port to another port, you can click the Gear Icon, choose Service & Ports tab, change your port, and that's it.
But, if you want to change the skype's port, i guess this video will help you.
I don't know if this way is correct or not, but if you talk about command to make another version of laravel, maybe you can follow this instruction:
We will add another version of Laravel installer to quick create menu.
Laravel=composer create-project laravel/laravel %s --prefer-dist
Laravel 5.1=composer create-project laravel/laravel="5.1.*" %s --prefer-dist
Then you click menu quick create, you will find your Laravel 5.1 below Laravel option (Laravel 5.1 only example, you can replace with your own composer command).
The Title Tells, out of curiousity, please share, which domain you use for development .
Since google take
.app from us, you have to change the TLD
.dev if you want to stick with Chrome while develop your web application.
Hola guys, I'm back again, here is the update, and i guess this one will become the FINAL update for the Official gTLD for Laragon. Here it is:
So guys, i guess here is the end of the vote, since today, the official Laragon gTLD is
.oo, but if you guys want to use your own domain or pick one from the list, to change it, you can follow the instruction above.
Our beloved @leokhoa has another suggestion gTLD called
.oo (an abbreviation of Object Oriented), IMO, the TLD is simple, sounds nice, and the best thing is, Google can't seize this gTLD from us.
Personally, i use this
.oo for my local development.
Do you agree with this idea? Please reply and vote .
for your information, they took
.app from us too, Chrome add https:// in front of the hostname.
So, here are the candidates:
For you guys who still fall in love with this domain, you know what? .dev is like your ex-girlfriend, no matter what, how much she changes or hurt you, you always want to come back to her.
I guess, you can use this domain when you want to give some example.
I have no idea with this one, but here it is.
.invalid" is intended for use in online construction of names that are sure to be invalid and which it is obvious at glance are invalid.
I don't have idea
IMO, this one is unique, thanks to @Athlone for the idea, you guys can use this in honour of Laragon.
.localhost / .loc
Since our development running in local, i guess i can agree with this, but the .localhost is too long, i guess, i will stick with
TLD has traditionally been statically defined host DNS implementations as having an A record pointing to loop back IP address and is reserved for such use. Any other would conflict with widely deployed cod.
This one is good too, and emphasized our application is in test/development environment. Almost the same like
".test" is recommended for use in testing of current or new related code.
Do you have unique gTLD? Then tell us! Mention your idea, and i will update the list.
Looks like your connection to Laragon was lost, please wait while we try to reconnect.
